Starfleet is seeking a Marine Fueling Specialist (PIC) immediate hire for qualified candidate.
Role and Responsibilities:

- Facilitate the safe and compliant transfer of marine fuel from tanker trucks to various vessels in South Florida.
- The Marine Fueling Specialist is responsible for the overall safety and compliance of fuel transfer operations, ensuring that all procedures are followed and that risks are minimized.
- The specialist must be knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulations regarding marine fuel operations and adhere to them.
- The Marine Fueling Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining fueling equipment, performing routine safety inspections, and maintaining various pieces of the fueling equipment.
- The role requires assistance with the planning, execution, and documentation of fuel delivery operations for marine vessels.
- As the specialist, you will address any issues or challenges that arise during fuel delivery operations, including fuel quality, delivery delays, equipment malfunctions, and fuel spills.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively coordinate with chief engineers, truck drivers, port authorities, and dispatch management.
- Valid and clean Class E driver's license.
- Must possess the ability to pull and maneuver flatbed trailers up to twenty feet long.
- Up-to-date TWIC card.
- Must be able to demonstrate and apply basic mechanical principles. Mechanical experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 75lbs.
- Must be willing to routinely work Weekends along with holidays when necessary.
