STARFLEET - a locally owned and operated family business looking for an experienced Mechanic Assistant must have a CDL class A or B Driver's License to work on a fleet of Trucks, etc. It is a Full-Time position with some overtime. The Mechanic Assistant would be responsible for scheduled preventative maintenance including basic engine, hydraulic system, and transmission maintenance (oil and filter changes), brake adjustments and repair, tire repair, and other basic mechanical tasks as required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Scheduled Maintenance and Repair of Semi-Tractors, Trailers, and Trucks.
Knowledge of engines, transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, basic electrical troubleshooting, and tire repair.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience preferred.
CDL A or B license needed with Hazmat/Tanker.
Work weekends and be flexible.
Travel to the different job sites when needed.
Able to bend, push, pull, and lift.
Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background and drug screening.
